The Clean Air Act requires that all National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) regulations be followed. In addition, certain operations are prohibited from releasing any visible emissions into the air. They are also required to follow specific air cleaning and hazardous waste removal procedures.
